Walker and Cocoa

"Walker & Cocoa" (16"x 20" Prismacolor pencils on Stonehenge paper)
I've been working on this portrait for a while but can finally show it off since I delivered it to my happy clients today. This is a portrait of Walker and Cocoa, two young German Short-Haired Pointers. They are brother and sister and as unlike as they could be. Walker (with the mottled coat) is a mellow male and Cocoa (mainly solid brown) is a very active female. They're each in training to be field hunting dogs and, as I understand it, Cocoa is a hunting star. Walker is good too, mind you, but Cocoa is fast and sharp-eyed. Girls take note, this little dog has it all over the big guys! ;-)

  5. Hello And Thank you Sara for painting such wonderful drawings. Seeing the cogs and wheels on your steampunk stuff reminds me that I need a few cogs...well lots of cogs, empty toilet rolls, used (although that is where I could well be going wrong) washing up liquid bottles. a dead stag beetle (John or George...something to do with time continuum - I think it makes time continue continuuming) and a strange hat and scarf all for my time machine...oh, and some glass tube that goes up and down making a noise like my stomach.
I'm prattling on about absolutely nothing aren't I?
    Sorry!!!
Superb paintings Sara my dear - Love Them!

Do please feel fre to call round at my place elasticunicorn.blogspot.com
I will have the kettle on, have a natter, look at some drawings and paintings...oh and a wizz round time in my little box of tricks (Conditions Do Apply...This Offer Only Applies On Days That The Time Machine Is Working...But either way there will be CAKE!). Might even nip out to the village shop (ok, its a new Tesco) and buy ice cream.

  6. You know...I thought to myself 'Stew (thats my name and I seldom forget it - well there was that night ouside a pub in Weymouth...Guinness & Morgans Spiced Rum - thats who were at fault. I'm sure they put alcohol in those drinks, just can't prove it.). Now I'm l o s t.

Oh yeh...I thought as I'm a bit of a Sara fan why don't I become a Folloer (in an unstalker way of course) so I did.

    Stew.
